The University to has launched 'Hyderabad Liberation Struggle Research Project' to bring out a comprehensive history of the Hyderabad Liberation Struggle for recording objective history of this region and to understand the significance of the struggle in its proper perspective. More than 150 veteran freedom fighters from all the three regions of the Old Hyderabad State have been interviewed and their memories recorded. These recordings have been transcribed and published in a book entitled 'Hyderabad Mukti Sangramachya Maukhik Nondi' (Oral Record of Hyderabad Liberation Struggle).

Research and Consultancy Cell of the University

The Schools also offer consultancy services. At present active consultancy activity is going on in the fields of Earth, Environmental, Chemical and Social Sciences. 

A separate University Consultancy Cell has been established for offering consultancy services and for collaborative research for industries and business houses, general public as well as government and semi government organisations.
